SSC CHSL 2022 Eligibility Criteria

There are three essential qualifications that a candidate must meet to be able to sit for an SSC CHSL 2022 exam. The three criteria are provided in the following paragraphs:

SSC CHSL Nationality

The candidate must meet one of the following criteria:

(a) one who is a citizen of India, (b) a citizen of India

(b) an issue of Nepal or

(c) one of the subjects of Bhutan or

SSC CHSL Educational Qualification (04/01/2023)

• For LDCor JSA, PA/ SA, DEO (except DEOs in C&AG): The candidates who plan to take part in the CHSL 2022 examination must be able to pass at least the 12th Standard or equivalent examination at an approved Board or a University.

• For Data Entry Operator (DEO) within the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG): 12th Standard pass in the Science stream, that includes Mathematics an accredited Board or equivalent.

Arithmetical fundamentals: Percentages, Ratio and Proportion, Square roots Averages and Interest (Simple and compound) Gain and Loss Partnership Mixture and Allegation in Business Distance and time, Work and time.

Algebra: The fundamental algebraic identity of school Algebra as well as Elementary Surds (simple questions) and graphs of linear Equations.

General Awareness These questions test the candidate”s general understanding of the surrounding environment and its application to the world. The questions are intended to test the candidate’s knowledge of current events, things that are commonplace to observe, and experiences from a scientific perspective required by an educated individual. The test will also contain questions on India and its neighboring countries, particularly in relation to history, geography, culture, economic scene, general policy, and Scientific Research.

Important Points:

* Negative marking is available in SSC CHSL Stage 1 Examination 2022. A wrong answer to a question could be penalized by 0.5 marks for all sections.

* The exam duration will be 75 mins for those with visual impairments.

SSC CHSL Tier 2 Syllabus

This is a descriptive nature test designed to test applicants’ writing abilities in Hindi/English. The paper will consist of an essay of between 200 and 250 words and Letter/Application writing of about 150 to 200. The minimum mark required for qualifying in Tier II will be 33 percent. The results in Tier II will be considered in the preparation of merit. The best method to prepare for this is to study a variety of newspaper articles.
